If these instructions allow machine washing, make sure you remove all hooks, weights and metals prior to putting the curtains in the wash. You should use a mild detergent and a gentle spin cycle, and finish with line drying in the shade. For blinds or shutters that have become dirty, we recommend wiping them with a damp cloth.

You should aim for the curtain poles to be at least 15cm over each side of the window, excluding the finials (end parts of the pole). Larger windows should be 20–25cm over each side, though this can vary depending on the size of the room and the space available.
